"What a gem of a find! True to its name, this was a happy and peaceful place for the 4 days we were on Moorea. This property is very well kept and our bungalow spotless and well stocked with kitchen necessities. Loved having our own outdoor living/dining patio space and access to the pool, jacuzzi and lounge chairs to enjoy the lovely sunsets. The daily breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. Thank you to the warm, welcoming and helpful staff of Fare Oaoa Haapiti! "

"Absolutely amazing ! Trip of a lifetime- not sure how anyone could give an unfavorable review- We did a 1 night stay as we were cruising and had an overnight dock in Papette. Took ferry to Moore a was the best decision of the trip! Everyone at hotel especially the valet guys and bar tender Mr T were so helpful and friendly! Room had plenty of space, air conditioning worked well, beach towels for water activities. And a central living room and kitchen with spectacular sunset views and relaxing chairs to lounge. "Check in was easy and the front desk lady was super awesome. The unit was clean and they cleaned it half way through our 6 day stay. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was nice and worked as it should. Laundry on site was a plus and they have detergent at the front desk. Just down the way is the beautiful beach with easy access. Limited restaurants near by, but we had a car and explored the entire island. "

"The room and property are nice but it is absolutely the WORST internet connection- constantly disconnecting and sometimes had to sit outside my room on the porch- which I didn’t always want to do- in order to have a consistent signal. Very annoying. Breakfast buffet of $36 USD very over-priced for what it is. $20 USD would even be too much, but more reasonable. "

"Location was amazing. So peaceful, quiet, and serene. Viewed sunset from deck chairs of our room. Small facility so beach walks not crowded with lots of tourists. Room a little small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious - all so fresh. Secured parking on site. Only suggestion is to make guard gate electronic so aren’t required to get out of car to enter code. "

"What a gorgeous property, and so close to the airport, without feeling the slightest bit like an “airport hotel.” The place is large and well laid-out, with a wide variety of pool and dining options, each with a totally different vibe. We spent a two-day layover here on the way to New Zealand, and without ever leaving the property, we felt like we had a lovely little Tahitian getaway! "I really wanted to give this place high reviews, but unfortunately the great pluses this property has (amazing location right on the water and views) are negated by an overzelous and controling owner. Prepared to be scolded, warned and admonished for many things a paying costumer would not in other stablishments. I.e. do not take the kayak out in the beautiful bay because it could be damaged by the coral..are u serious? Why have a kayak on the property if it cant be used. Or, dont leave the AC...
