"Breakfast was simple but enough. Some of the best snorkeling we found across the island was off the beach of the hotel. The use of kayaks made it really fun to kayak to the nearby bay and over towards the nearby Hilton bungalows. The property has older furnishings but we didn’t plan to be in our room much and turned out we Weren’t so it worked well for us. I’d recommend renting a car or scooter if staying here to help ease with exploration of the island"

"It is such a wonderful property! It is equipped with everything you need and more, with a wonderful layout, beautiful furniture, everything looking new, super comfortable all around! And of course the location is fantastic (and also convenient, close to the ferry, the groceries, the main town). It is not in the area of the smoother lagoon, because you have some corals just in front of the house, but it is still very shallow (great for kids) and it means you can already snorkel starting from your backyard. And of course, they provide you 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards, so you can enjoy them all you want. We went there as whole family with little kids and everyone had a wonderful time. Great place!"

"Fare Manta was a wonderful place to stay on Moorea. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed our room and it was quiet and relaxing. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was yummy! Definitely recommend having a car on Moorea to get around. Beautiful island!"

"Our stay in Tahiti / Moorea had both wonderful moment and some disappointments.The biggest highlight of this property is its incredible location. Walking out the back door directly onto a private beach was absolutely breathtaking. We spent hours enjoying the crystal-clear water and were amazed to see colorful tropical fish, sharks, stingrays, eels, and crabs right from the shoreline. Having that experience just steps from the house made our trip truly memorable.The home was spacious with a nice kitchen, which was important to us since we preferred preparing our own meals instead of staying at a resort.Unfortunately, the cleanliness and pest issues significantly impacted our stay. The sofa pillows were noticeably dirty, to the point that I removed them from the couch during our visit. There were spider webs throughout the property, and bugs were visible as soon as we arrived. We had to call the host back on our first day because there was a large infestation of ants inside the home.Throughout our stay, a lizard lived behind the refrigerator and frequently came out which was startling. By the third night, numerous small beige insects appeared across the kitchen countertop. We recognize that tropical, beachfront properties may naturally attract insects; however consistent pest management and routine cleaning would significantly enhance the experience. We chose to stay for the exceptional beachfront setting. With improvements this property would be outstanding. 5/5"
