Hotel Mirage

"Hotel Mirage is not a particularly fancy place, but it worked well for us as a base near Florence airport at the beginning and end of our trip. PROS: - a short taxi ride from the airport (20euros) - well-stocked breakfast buffet - a couple of good restaurants nearby - room was clean and practical - staff was friendly and helpful - free parking CONS: - we had two different rooms for our two visits, one was rather plain and needed updating, the other was a bit more modern - not terribly quiet, with rail tracks and airport close by"

"We chose this hotel because it was very close to airport and we had an very early departure flight, Its a bit of a walk into downtown Florence area - safe enough. You could also use public transportation and get pretty close to the hotel. We did not utilize any amenities as we spent the majority of our time sight seeing"

Wyndham Garden Florence

8/10 Good

"Convenient, very close to airport. Relatively clean. We had two containers of hair- conditioner but no shampoo. TV controller missing, had to request to be delivered. Breakfast charged for 28 € is not cheap , but the meat was packaged american turkey slices and ham, don't smell fresh. There was supposed to be egg made to order, but doesn't look prepared for this."

"This hotel is in an industrial park but near the airport. There is nothing to do around the hotel. Is OK for one night before a flight. It also has a bistro but does not open until 7:00 p.m. for supper. There is also a breakfast buffet starting at 7:00 a.m. We found our room very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. It was easy to get a taxi at 7:30 to get to airport but would not recommend a longer-term stay as there are no other restaurants or shops close by."

"Este lugar es un sueño, cada rincón, las vistas, la habitación rodeada de naturaleza con sus ovejas y viñedos. El spa es increíble además de bello. Las piscinas una más bella que otra. Es un lugar con muchos detalles y espacios increíbles. Sentarse en el bar a ver el atardecer con los valles de la Toscana es una experiencia que no debe faltar. Yo sin duda volveré. Gracias, toda la estancia estuvo perfecta. Serán días inolvidables."
