It’s a pretty great place to stay if you’re out and about all day. Place is well-maintained and quiet the whole 4 day stay I was there.

I consider the room to be a bare bones room. If you were traveling all day and needed a place to sleep, it would have served its purpose. Our room had a loose bathroom faucet and the window was broken. The a/c worked fine and the bed was very comfortable with fresh clean sheets. No coffee maker in room but there was one at check in.

It’s our go to place everytime we go to Monterey, price is usually reasonable and the Mall is across the street ( walkable) there are places to eat at the mall and down the street a little.

Things seemed sanitized for the most part. Under the bed there was two bags from pizza my heart. So clearly isn’t not super clean. Several areas need repair in the bathroom. So yes it’s been remodeled but should probably cost $50-80 less. Due to cleanliness and how loud everything is.

I know they are trying hard to make this place nice, however they need to focus on the guest service. The banging of the doors is so obnoxious and loud! Construction on a room with the guys trucks parked sideways in the lot cant get to the room, loud Construction it was terrible. The room is sterile, no blow dryer for hair, just a bed and sink, Tv not inviting at all, the room is stark white with blinding lights. Ugh its not good at all. Thin walls you van hear everything!!!!!!! Needs a lot of work

The room was fine. Very small, but functional. It had a refrigerator and microwave, but no coffee maker. I'd rather have a coffee maker than a microwave. The shower was very low pressure, but we did always have hot water. The parking is very tight. All in all it was fine for what we needed. Nothing fancy, but clean and quiet.

Worst place to stay Room was bare not worth the money, don’t stay here. I got bites on my ankles, we had booked 2 nights but left after 1. I guess in Monterey $200 a night is bottom of the barrel hotel.
