Find Ski Hotels in Modane

Charming farmhouse experience in a tiny village in the spring. Easy access to Modane train station. Breakfast was excellent, fresh and healthy. Host was very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Altapura richly deserves its 5-star rating. The resort is spectacular, and all the amenities are at one's fingertips. The ski school or instructors meet you there, the rentals and ski departures are just at the door, the food, wines, and all amenities are first rate. It was such a pleasure to stay at this unique establishment. The hosts take you in welcoming the place explaining their unique way of life. The location is great, next to parking lot right in town. The sauna on a rooftop with a stargazing bubble and mountain views is spectacular. The charcuterie plate serves thick cuts of local meats and cheese, don’t miss it. The dog Neige is a great St. Bernard welcoming you along with two cats.

One of the best… A must try…. And a definitely coming back!!!

Amazing hotel and well worth the money in my opinion. Came in early December, so it wasn’t too crowded for the busy season yet. Excellent service and facility. Book it!

Very friendly staff! Whats wonderful location with tidy and clean rooms.

Great place and friendly staff.

The owners were super friendly, very helpful and breakfast was ready within we got up early. The rooms are comfortably and everything was clean and neat. The location was walking distance from some restaurants and the train station. It’s a simple, family owned hotel and was perfect for a short stay.

Fantastic hotel. Staff are very friendly, hotel is very clean and food is good. The Mountain views are so relaxing to wake up to in the morning.

priced little high but overall I had a decent experience. The host was very helpful, unfortunately I don’t know his name, but thank you very much.

Staff was attentive and nice. Location was great taking into account the free shuttle service which was available on the minute. Facilities super nice.

It's great for families with young children. It has a great restaurant and location

This is a very nice hotel, with wonderful staff. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast is ample and varied -- eggs, bacon, pastries, yogurt, cereal, toast, juices, coffees, etc. The hotel is in the exact center of town. There is extremely limited parking near the hotel, but lots of it about ten minutes' walk away.
