Central and quiet location. Easy parking and great on site meals as well. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic.

Over priced, noisy, couldn’t park in front of room. Won’t stay there again . I spent 2 nights in cairns in a 1 bed apartment with washing machine, full kitchen cost me less .

A rest on a big road working trip

Just an overnight stay but I found it to be very comfortable and the service was really good. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. I was working long hours and it was the perfect place to rest as it was very quiet.

Could have been longer - I wish!

Staying at the Barrier Reef Motel while visiting Innisfail for a sporting event was a great decision. Check-in staff were welcoming and courteous, the room was very quiet, comfortable, spacious and clean. Dined in - and was very impressed with the meal, the service and the friendly casual atmosphere. Wished I didn’t need to check out at 6am! Would have thoroughly enjoyed a few more hours and a swim.

I was in Innisfail on business and this made a fantastic base for me. The food at the restaurant is top quality, the rooms were clean, the breakfasts are amazing.

The best of a bad bunch

Restaurant is a good option for breakfast, evening dining was dreadful. While renovated and offering all facilities the overnight traveller might require, the rooms are like a dark small prison cell. Unfortunately, they seem to be the best around town and charge like it too. Their free wifi turned out to be restricted to 4 hours.

The Hotel is always busy so that tells you all you really need to know really - lots of returning customer suggests that it is a nice motel and I have stayed here a number of times now myself. The Pub is a great place for a catch-up and the food is not bad.
