"Room was clean. Some new facilities but mostly old furniture from previous hotel brand. Carpets marked and stained from where previous furniture was. Shower was dangerous. Burning hot water then ice cold, without moving temperature control. In 6 days I never once managed to shower without being burned. Room temperature was unpleasant, even with provided fan running constantly. Airflow from it barely reached 2 feet away. I wouldn't like to stay there when it was warm outside as room temperature...

"I go there so often , when ever I visit Essen , the last check in room number #260 the bed are not comfortable, it seam to be over used and has slope in the middle because for sure over used and getting old ( Need to be replaced) since I feels the Spring metal touching my back when I was trying to have sleep . Was not a comfortable night at all"

"Really nice and clean hotel. Our room was large and lovely with big windows. They set up an extra bed for our son and he loved it. "

"The hotel is old but reasonably well maintained. Its location is close to the train station and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The wifi was sufficient. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean."
