We loved staying at this hotel. Staff are attentive and all seem to go above and beyond. Everyone is friendly and no real issues arose during our stay. The rooms are modern and clean. The rooftop pool and bar are a great addition to a city centre hotel. There's also great places to eat and entertainment right by the front door. Easy commute to Cancun via the ADO bus service that stops directly at the hotel.

Free airport shuttle was not provided, but bus from directly outside terminal to hotel entrance. Driving time 30 min, cost 45 Pesos. Would have loved to have fridge in the room. Nice restaurant selection in hotel building. Gym and pool are nice ameneties. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Good find! Clean, tidy & modern. It’s in a great location, just above the Paseo 60 ADO bus stop. My only suggestion would be a toaster at breakfast. But overall very good and would definitely recommend!

Location is great. The general area is noisy at night, however. There is a club nearby that plays very loud music late at night. Staff were helpful when we needed anything. Some of the towels need to be replaced.

Customer service was good, rooms were cleanI can’t say exactly what was inadequate I just wished it was more. One of the good things I would like to point out is that in the evenings most of the days they had entertainment in the center of the plaza where the hotel was located, there are also more hotels, restaurants, food court etc… that was really unexpected and a nice surprise.

Hotel location is great. The facilities are good. The Staff was polite but did not know how to handle problems with our room reservation and made us wait in the lobby for about 30 minutes. So we had to ask for the intervention of the hotel manager to help us to get the room. The complementary continental breakfast buffet is fine but finishes at 9:00 in weekdays and the items are limited. There is not decaf coffe.

The room was comfortable, and the bed was fine. But there was only a heavy comforter. No layers to peel off. The check-in was terrible We had to wait very long in an extremely hot lobby. Then the complement Breakfast was also not much fun because it was so hot in the room

Disappointed in Marriott

The staff was very nice and helpful. The lobby did not have ac, the pool and rooftop was disgusting. It was so crusty and pool was very dirty! However the gym was great. It was confusing having breakfast, only one part of the area was free breakfast, the other you needed to pay 16$ usd and when it got busy it was chaotic. No ice buckets in the room or anywhere! Marriott should be ashamed!

convenient hotel

We came to Merida for a short three night holiday and enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent inside a shopping and dining complex called Paseo 60. It’s close to centro, a great location. We were treated very well by the staff at the hotel. Our stay included continental breakfast which was very generous and included coffee, a variety and home made fruit waters, fresh fruit, Swiss style muesli, toast etc.. My husband used the gym at the property and also the rooftop pool. it was sparkling clean and had comfortable loungers. The only downside to the hotel is our guest room. It was adequate but a bit tired. The window seals have blown so the view outside is obscured with humidity and the windows don’t open. The bathroom had a great shower but it’s in need of a refresh. Toiletries are provided which is nice and the housekeeper provided us with additional towels. The bed, pillows and sheets were comfortable. Overall the hotel is good, the staff is very kind and I would stay again. The price is very reasonable. The location is excellent, close to a variety of shops, restaurants and museums.
