"Lovely little cottage, staff were very welcoming and helpful. Cottage was spotlessly clean and full English was yummy. We ate in the pub several times and the food was very tasty."

"the Barge is a pub with accomodation in a very good location, about 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Although the staff are welcoming and the room was clean, the overall appearance of the pub is that it is shabby and run down. The carpet on the staircase leading to the bedrooms was grubby and had a large hole in it. outside the garden furniture has seen better days and there is a canopy which has come adrift from its fixings and been lashed to the outside bar.
