"We had a fantastic stay at Kavalari hotel. It is centrally located at the heart of Fira. Also has an awesome unrestricted view of caldera. The staff were very friendly and helpful, special mention to front desk staff (Viki) and helper (Mubin). The cave like room architecture was unique and fun to be at. Decent breakfast served in beautiful hotel patio ensures a good start of the day. We wish to come back and stay here again. Strongly recommended."

"We stayed at this hotel for three days, from April 28th to 30th. Everything was excellent: a very good, clean room; a great breakfast; and a fantastic location. The staff provided top-notch service—a special thank you goes to Theodor, who was very attentive and conscientious."

"Everything was outstanding. The room itself, the views, the outdoor terrace where we enjoyed breakfast each morning, all were great. The staff was wonderful. From information before we arrived, to providing information about the local sites, restaurants, and attractions, we never lacked for anything. A minor concern with the room was quickly addressed, extra towels, assistance with luggage when arriving and leaving, and more were all taken care of quickly. Wonderful hospitality and service."

"Clean room, and the housekeepers were nice, but the hotel owner was extremely rude. I booked three superior suite rooms for three nights. Once I got the confirmation of booking, the hotel sent a message to me that the reception only available from 9am to 5pm, but our flight was arriving at 9 pm at night, so I sent a message asking how we could get the room keys, but they never replied. I had to contacted Expedia, who also tried to reach them at first with no success. Expedia then gave me the hotel email address, I sent several polite emails asking about check-in and transportation, again, no reply at all. Only when I ask to cancel the reservation, then they replied to the expedia without replying me. We were very worried because we were arriving at night on an unfamiliar island, with no local language, and reception would already be closed. I needed direct confirmation, so I asked Expedia to request that the hotel to give me a message, finally they sent me a message, but without any courtesy.At the day before we arrived, I received three messages for the other two rooms I had booked, but none for our own room. I have no idea how I offended them, as all of my emails were polite. I can share them if anyone is interested. Never in my experience have I encountered such a rude owner. Their housekeepers were far friendlier than the reception."

"The hotel was even better in person, lovely cozy hotel. We were really impressed and the staff are the most amazing! Shoutout to Angela, Nikki, Stefano and Chris. Will definitely go back there, they made our trip incredible."

"The view from this property is absolutely breathtaking, with an incredible caldera view that truly stands out and makes the entire stay memorable. The place was clean and everything matched what was described on the property page, which made the stay very reliable and comfortable. Since we did not have a rental car, the property was helpful in arranging taxis for us whenever needed. The property also had two bathrooms, one of which had an open concept design. This was not an issue for us. There are quite a few stairs to climb, but that is expected for the location and part of the overall experience. Overall, it was a beautiful stay. We didn’t get the Expedia perk of 1 beverage per 2 people per stay. "

"Great location in Fira. Clean room, great view of caldera from our balcony. Pool on the same level. Outdoor table and chairs and 2 sun lounges. Small fridge with minibar. Aircon but didn’t use. Bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and bar of soap. Good hair dryer. John organised our taxi from airport and met us to help with suitcase. "

"I loved my stay at Santorini Palace, this is a really beautiful and well-maintained property, with great views of areas of the island. My room was excellent, clean and comfortable, very spacious and cozy. The staff all over the hotel is friendly and attentive. Food was average, and as everything in Santorini a bit overpriced. The hotel is located in the heart of Firostefani, very close to the town of Fira and Imerovigli, where you can easily walk from the hotel. Just steps away from the main entrance you can have the stunning views of the Caldera from the Three Bells of Fira lookout point."
