"The rooms and grounds were lovely and clean The menu was ok but the food taste uninspiring The movie about the archeological sites was outdated and impossible to hear due to a bad and outdated audio video system The WIFI was non existent in the rooms and spotty in the reception area The staff in the restaurant mostly seemed like they were put out when having to serve and could use more training The worst was the staff at the front desk who were inattentive no matter who manned the desk the...

"The room needs improvement..but the staff was incredible"

"Nice hotel. Great customer service. Has a wonderful and peaceful beach on the lake. You can go on kayak, included on reservation. Nice pool. Comfortable beds. AC works like a charm. Everything is quite delightful except for the food. Expensive and not that good. (Breakfast is OK, but lunch/Dinner menu not so much) I Do recommend this hotel. I'd definetely go back. (half hour trip from Airport or to tikal)"

"We enjoyed our staying, close to the park and the staff was very helpful and friendly."

"I loved it. You may too IF you like bare simple, ecological, country side style. Very affordable ! Good convenient location close to Tikal."

"Loved the vibe this property had. My overall stay was pretty good, the food was made fresh to order, the staff were as helpful as possible as my Spanish is extremely limited. The room could have been a bit cleaner but it’s understandable it’s basically out in the forest so perfectly clean wasn’t expected. It was unfortunate the power was out for the majority of my last day stay, I was checking out so I didn’t bother to ask about it. I will say, I’m more than sure I was grossly over charged for...

"We loved out stay at Casa de Don David! The grounds are beautiful and the rooms were comfortable for our visit to Tikal. The food was also delicious. The staff helped us arrange a driver for airport pickup and dropoff as well as transportation to and from Tikal. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!"

"Title: Starlink, comfortable beds and right on the lake I booked my first nights here on Expedia and ended up staying four. Bahía Taitzá is a small independent hotel on the north shore of Lake Petén Itzá, across from Flores. The beds are really comfortable, the rooms are well kept, the Wi-Fi is Starlink (fast and dependable), and there's a wading pool to cool off in. A second restaurant is being built and plenty of other improvements are underway. It's far quieter than the island, where party...

Invitados a regresar"

"The hotel, consisting of separate cabanas, is conveniently located on a main road near Flores, Guatemala. We arrived in a high-roof van with a roof rack and were able to access the property without any issues. We greatly enjoyed the grilled dinner for 4. The pool was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful!"
