"Pros: Vistas desde la terraza Cons: Tuvimos varios problemas que no se solucionaron. No tuvimos wifi, ni televisión, el ascensor se rompió y estuvimos 5 días sin él, se lo mandé por WhatsApp y al final lo tuve que solucionar yo, la puerta del aparcamiento no funcionaba y no nos dejaron llave para abrirla manualmente y decir que el ascensor solo llega a la 3° planta, el resto de pisos ( estábamos en el 5°) había que hacerlo andando"

"This is such a lovely apartment if you want to be outside of the main towns, yet to stay well connected. I loved hearing the insects at night, and the view of the sea in the morning. We took the bus on several occasions without hassle, leaving the hire car securely parked at the property. The place was spotless, and Domingo was welcoming and very responsive. "Venue is wonderful and beautiful. However, for a 5* hotel and the brand The Ritz-Carlton, it could certainly do with some improvements. 1) Pool cleanliness: the pool is very filthy. We stayed for a week ar Tivoli before coming to the Ritz. The Tivoli Hotel pool is meticulously clean. The Ritz seems to not clean their pool regularly. Very disappointing for a 5* hotel. 2) TXOKO poolside restaurant: poor quality food at horrendous prices. Dry meat, pasta with no taste, croquettes for €6 that are less than a bite. Compare this to Tivoli Hotel restaurants by Chef Olivier where they serve real tasty food. TXOKO gets 4/10 from me. 3) Breakfast: options not great, food not great quality, and staff are overworked and stressed. We were served pre-cooked cold fried eggs, and bad coffee in half filled cups from the machine. I wonder who inspected their 5* rating. 4) Lobby smells of diapers and not a great experience to be in. Most luxury hotels smell luxurious and wonderful, you would want to be in the lobby. 5) Check-in vs Check-out: totally different treatment by staff during check-in vs check-out. Both at restaurants (TXOKO) and with the bag storage in the lobby. It’s as if they know you’re about to leave so they treat you differently. Apart from the above, I think this place could be wonderful if they improved these points. Would rate this place 4.5/5* until they work on the above points."

"The service was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially a lady by the name of of Sonsolas at the Guest Experience desk and Fabian at check in desk The amenities was let down by the very low powered air conditioning that on warmer nights made sleeping uncomfortable. Also only one small bottle of water was provided for the whole stay. Thank goodness there is a mini supermarket across the road for bottle water. There was no tissue box. Food at restaurants were good. We had breakfast and dinner. Location is excellent, walking distance to shops and restaurants We would stay there again"
