"Property looks like a resort our room was clean, bed and pillows are comfortable, but the bathroom was small. Housekeeping came every day. Indoor pool and hot tub fantastic! Free parking Hotel does put a $150 hold on your credit card each day you stay but will release charge upon departure. Overall good experience and will return!"

"Great location downtown, lots of laces to eat and drink within walking distance. Happy hour was pleasant, a nice perk. We were near the elevator so it was a little too noisy in the morning. "

"We did not have a horrible experience just little things that were not up to our expectations but overall it was nice and we would go back! It was a tad pricey. Our tv only had 4 channels , the bath tub was a tad scratched up , the hallway walls seemed to have some slight water damage. Nothing here was horrible. "

"Eggs were cold. Netflix and chromecast did not work. But at least the fan stayed on constantly all night instead of turning on and off. "

"This was the perfect place to stay while we were in town to see the Detroit Red Wings play the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena. We parked overnight at US Steel Tower Garage (44 Bigelow Ave), which was right across from the hotel, and then could easily walk to the hotel from there. We then walked 5 mins to the arena to see the game. The hotel was quiet and very clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff was friendly. It was a nice stay and the suite we stayed was a great place to hang out for the evening. We did not get breakfast or dinner but there is a restaurant on site. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to stay here again. "

"The room was great, breakfast was as expected, everything was clean and well stocked. Check-in took awhile. The front-desk lady seemed a little frazzled and appeared to to be struggling with the computer system, but eventually we got our keycards. Holiday Inn Express is our favorite one-night hotel to stay at when we are on road trips due to consistent experience and good value."

"We loved the layout of the room. Kitchen was useful. Rugs, couch and mattress were stained but rest of room clean. Furniture worn. All normal wear and tear. Sadie was SOOO helpful and rest of staff really nice."
