"Good amount of parking although either a trek to reception or the room as the equidistant spaces were all full. Check in felt convoluted and confused - eg the payment and whether breakfast was included or not. It was a bit of a faff getting to reception as we were not allowed through the normal entrance owing to a wedding and so had to enter through a side entrance - all quite bizarre. The bar was excellent as was the outdoor areas. The rooms were fairly compact but clean and well appointed - it was a hot day and the small fan didn’t do much to help so was stifling hot in the room - only one window could be opened fully. The Italian gardens was nice albeit a bit tatty in places - a couple of days of maintenance would sort that out easily enough. Overall decent stay and just about worth the money, but some room to sharpen up."
