‣ Visitors: not staying overnight are welcomed, loud, disruptive parties are not.

‣ Check out instructions: We ask that you wash your dishes and pick up any trash left outdoors including cigarette butts

‣ BYO Beach Towels: There is a pond/beach area on site. We only provide bath towels.

‣ Located 1 mile from Lake of Egypt Dam, Pyramid Acres Marina, and Mack's Marina

‣ Total of 3 cabins and 1.5 acre pond sits on 5 acres behind our home estate, separated by a privacy fence.

‣ Our Great Dane, Rocco, and lab mix, Ariel, greet guests on occasion.

‣ Firewood: We provide firewood.

‣ Inventory: We provide a "starter package" of inventory for our cabin: 3 rolls of T.P. and 1 full roll of paper towels.

‣ House Manual: Our house manual is 100% online.

Live music plays on weekends at the local bait store and Pyramid Acres Marina during lake season- it carries across the field to the cabins.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stay in a micro cabin or tiny house? Our cabins are considered "large" tiny homes at 560 square feet- making them fun, but very roomy and comfortable.



We love the modern appeal and we designed them with our young... and young at heart travelers in mind. They feature warm wood elements with soft white shiplap and plenty of natural light.

We started our hosting journey with a 50 ft. motor yacht on Kentucky Lake in 2016. We chartered the yacht and offered a novel nightly stay to Kentucky Lake guests. Although we loved the experience, we felt that there was a way to offer a great experience in a more logistically favorable way. In 2017, we broke ground on the back 5 acres of our property. We finished our first 2 cabins in 2018 and have since added a lake with beach and a 3rd cabin. We have a 5 year vision for a "glamping" attraction that will feature 6 cabins, a lake, and a community building for small reunions, retreats and celebrations.

Location, Location, Location! Our cabin is centrally located in the heart of all things "southern Illinois." More specifically, we are located just 4 miles off I-57 and I-24- making our destination stress free so you can spend more time doing what you love. The cabin sits on the back 5 acres of our homestead property that is separated by a privacy fence.

We are very fortunate to have private lake access while our own 2-acres lake fills in over the 2020-2021 winter and spring. Each cabin is provided a key to a private beach on Lake of Egypt that is approximately 1 mile down the road. It is a great place to swim, picnic, bank fish, put in your boat, etc.
