"great location, peaceful, quiet and beautiful! has sea and mountain views. Staff was helpful and friendly. Our room had no phones, broken blinds, no hot water heating kettle and a leaking fridge, was not cleaned inside. Balcony was not cleaned. We had to check out early, just one day: due to flood warnings and coastal high waves. But the hotel refused to refund the money. very bad. Hotels .com does not help either. Has good parking and good view, great location."

"The view was spectacular and listening to the crashing waves. Only issue really was there was no air conditioning, and it was extremely warm (mid 90's) when we were there. They did have fans which helped and keeping the shades down but even one unit in bedroom would have been nice.Angel was terrific and very helpful."

"The place was decorated cute! Felt very homey!! The Manager was great!! Brought us an umbrella when asked!! The first two days we had a few ants by the third day the ants were everywhere!! The kitchen mostly. We called and got no return callback!! It was a Sat."

"Wonderful stay in Malibu! The property was very clean, conveniently located, and the host was exceptionally professional and communicative. There was construction nearby, but it wasn’t an issue once we were inside—the crashing waves completely overpowered the noise and created a serene atmosphere. Parking off PCH can be tricky, especially for larger vehicles, though our small Acura SUV fit without issue. We had a great experience and would gladly stay again."

"We had an excellent stay at SA Beach #8. The location on Carbon Beach is hard to beat—the ocean views from the suite and private balcony are incredible, and having direct beach access made the entire stay feel special. We stayed for my girlfriend’s birthday, and it was the perfect setting. Waking up to the Pacific, having breakfast overlooking the water, and being able to walk straight down to the beach made for a memorable morning. The suite was clean, comfortable, beautifully designed, and exactly as represented. The Stay Awhile team was also extremely responsive and accommodating, including helping us with early access, a late checkout, and other requests throughout the stay. Great property, great location, and excellent service. We would absolutely stay here again. 5/5."

"It was my third visit to this property and I will be back! The view of the Malibu coastline is breathtaking. Angel, the property manager is amazing. Greets you with a smile and is there for anything you might need. I highly recommend this charming place on Carbon Beach in Malibu."
