The room has great view and is bright and comfortable. It exceeds my expectations for the price I paid for. I ‘d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to have quick access to the Bund and Yu Garden."

"The room was clean if not a little dated. The hotel itself is very century located and fantastic for nighttime walk to the Bunce. The general facilities are really good, they’ve got a fantastic sauna steam room hot bath. I’d recommend it for a day to see the sites of Shanghai."

"The staff is very friendly, courteous, and helpful. Especially you have the same housekeeper taking care of your room and she made followers one day and a bunny made from a towel on another day. This especially meaningful to us. We’d stay there again. The only improvement they should make is to upgrade the hotel. The furniture and decor look dated."

"there were two people that really stood out when it came to helping me that I felt was beyond and I am so grateful as I wasn't prepared to how my western world apps didn't work there. I think the first was the reception manager, she was incredible! very positive and always smiling and determined to help as best she could and persistent. the other was a heavy set gentleman that understood my situation and spent as much time as he felt that was needed to leave me smiling and being grateful I chose this hotel. a huge life saver to making my trip so memorable and of all the places I have travelled Shanghai stands out. these two are a big reason too. "Room was spacious and clean, plenty of storage and area to work. The mattress was very firm but quite comfortable. There are electric blackout shades and screens, really versatile to enjoy the view or sleep. The bathroom is great for 2 people, provides privacy for shower and toilet. Breakfast restaurant is nice and cheerful, wide selection of foods. The lobby is off to one side and not really appealing to socialize. This hotel is in a very clean neighborhood full of shops and restaurants, excellent location for walking around. "
