"I love this hotel so much it was my second visit. I describe it as wholesome. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is superb for train station (2mins), city wallls (5 mins) and parkrun start line (5 min walk) Lucca is special and well worth a visit. I will certainly be back next next to stay and this lovely little hotel but please don’t forget the 3 mins plug adapter for Italy and not a standard EU plug."

"The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the old walled town. Staff were great to point out best routes and make us dinner reservations. Our room was fabulous, clean , comfortable, nicely decorated and quiet at the back of the building. Free parking was a wonderful benefit. Lots of selection for breakfast and a handy bar for evening drinks."

"The staff here are fantastic. All super friendly and helpful, we had an early departure and we were given takeaway breakfast for our journey. What a lovely boutique hotel to stay in, really made our visit to Lucca great!"

"We loved our stay at Villa Marta. Right from the start the staff was very helpful with Jessica assisting our late check in. The staff at breakfast was lovely, especially Roberto, and the breakfast buffet excellent. The location is great for getting into Lucca and Pisa as well as our day in Cinque Terre. We enjoyed the green space and our time by the pool. Would definitely come back."

"The moment we arrived Francesco greeted us warmly. The room was clean, quiet and had a lovely terrace we could enjoy along with onsite parking. The pool while unheated was a great place to relax at. Fabio, the bartender at the bar provide us excellent service and was always working hard. He’s a great representation of what good customer service should be. The breakfast staff at the breakfast buffet also went above and beyond to make sure our coffee orders and food were just right. Thank you to all the staff for making this a great stay!"
