"The wife and I stayed here for 2 nights for a short break in the New Forest. The hotel was great, our room was light and airy. Although a little warm because of the heat wave we were able to open windows on both sides that brought in a draft in the evening which quickly cooled the room down, that and use of the excellent shower meant that we coped easily. Each room also has a small allocated outdoor space which was particularly welcome during the hot weather and we enjoyed some fish and chips on...

Shops and restaurants and bars were of walkable distance, rooms had everything we needed and staff were friendly and more than helpful with any other needs. The lovely continental breakfast and fresh coffee was a real treat."

"Oak Tree Rooms was an excellent base for our New Forest weekend. I think the only drawback was the other people staying - they did like a loud conversation through a locked door, which was quite annoying! Other than that, the rooms were very comfortable indeed."

We loved the personal touches, from the delicious homemade lemon drizzle cake waiting for us on arrival to the cafetière coffee provided in our room. Our room was peaceful, quiet, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was a highlight, perfectly cooked with a wide selection, including even more homemade cake and the best homemade bread I’ve ever tasted!
