Large Room Available in a Beautiful Victorian Manor in Santa Monica

Welcome to Santa Monica! I'm renting out a spare room in a Victorian Manor near all of the major tourist destinations. Originally built in 1907, this beautiful Victorian home sits in a prime location in the heart of Santa Monica. The spot is perfectly located a 5 minute drive to the beach, 8 minute drive to downtown Santa Monica, a 10 minute drive to the famous Venice Beach, and and a 3 block drive to the 10 freeway entrance to get anywhere else.

I've included all of the amenities you can ever need for your stay. The room includes a private secure entrance, private bath, queen size bed, all of the kitchen amenities you'll need while on Vacation, and all of the supplies and toiletries you'll need for your stay. I live in the main house and can quickly answer any questions or get you any extra toiletries or supplies you might need.

Santa Monica Business License Number: 228241
I'll be on site and present throughout your stay if you ever need anything.
The room can have up to 3 people stay at a time.
I can provide permits for one vehicle to park during your stay.
This home-share will not be booked or rented by more than one group of visitors on any given date.

We had a wonderful stay at Blakes place, he was very accommodating while we were there and very quick to reply to us at any stage. Really appreciated all the home comforts to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Lovely quiet street and would highly recommend if staying in Santa Monica

Great little spot near the ocean

The simple room (plus bath) was appointed and maintained with care. The location was amazing at such a value. Great privacy. It is an older house, which we really like. At one point there was an issue with one of the fixtures but the host was very responsive and helpful. We were very happy with our stay.

Wildfires

I could see the Pacific Palisades fire from the sidewalk but only smelled it on Sunday when the wind shifted. This property and Blake are both wonderful. We had a discussion about an evacuation plan and what it would take to initiate that action. This is my third stay and I will be back.

A little gem in Santa Monica

The room is thoughtfully arranged, with travel and hiking books and maps, a fridge with bottles of water, a terrific Keurig coffee setup, even makeup remover cloths in the well-stocked bathroom! The Californiana raises the spirit!

This property was close to all the events associated with my 45th Santa Monica High School reunion. I appreciated the private entrance given I was coming and going all hours of the day. I also appreciated the coffee set up. I did not have to venture out for coffee. This property was exceptionally convenient.

A hidden gem in Santa Monica!

This was a perfect fit! We were in town for a concert, and it was great to be able to just walk to the Metro station to get downtown. Everything was clean and well-stocked and home-ey, and the host issued us a pass for parking on the street, which was perfect for the rental car. Hope to stop by again!

Beyond Wonderful Escape

My partner and I needed an accommodation for a wedding in Santa Monica, and we were blown away by this host's setup and amenities. The care they put into making this a truly amazing place to stay made it better than staying in a hotel with comparable pricing. From the soundproofing & sound machine, to the full coffee bar and dining area, sunscreen and sunglasses if you forgot, parking pass, a full bathtub.... (not to mention the games, instruments, activities and California travel books). Clean, tidy, and super prepared host. I would give them 6 stars if I could!

Party Noise from main house until 1:00 a.m.

At first things seemed to go fine. First night quiet and peaceful. Second night (Fri) banging noises against shared walls until 11:00p.m. Sat day and night large group party in front yard and house. I tried to go to sleep later than I wanted to (10:00 pm) hoping noise would subside, but loud talking (despite closing windows) and then loud banging (despite ear plugs) continued until 1:00 a.m. Host should have communicated the party to allow me to rebook. Super inconsiderate. The room also smelled moldy. Other than that it was fine. What I paid for 3 nights including 1 night of crappy sleep and 1 night of awful sleep was not worth it.

Well equipped, adorable room!

Very private, well equipped, cozy room. 15 minute walk to the 3rd street promenade. The bed and bedding was very comfortable and smelled clean. Plenty of coffee and tea choices to use in the updated Keurig. Free parking and great location! I will be coming here again!
