The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed after hiking to the top of Mt. Whitney and it was great to have 3 queen beds in the one room for 3 very tired hikers!
Very close to several nice restaurants and a grocery store and two blocks from the Mt. Whitney Portal Rd.
We stayed here twice - before our hike up Mt. Whitney and after our hike, one day later. The staff was very kind and friendly. The room was perfect for us because it was roomy and had 3 queen beds in the one room (for three tired hikers). Would stay here again for sure!
Just off the main drag of hwy 395, this motel is quiet with none of the traffic noise of motels on 395. Comfortable bed, large frig. One of the best deals: better motel but less expensive.

The place is a good hotel, if you want a quiet hotel to stay the night, it’s perfect. There is no amenities so dont look for brkfst or gym or what not, it’s a Hotel!
Very basic room akin to a Motel 6 room. Clean and comfortable in a very quiet area. Good for a one night stay or if you are going to be out all day and just need a bed and a shower. Easy walk to a large market and restaurants.
Close to restaurants and gas stations. Main attractions of Alabama hills is just 10mins away. Super clean rooms and professional staff--you get what you sign up for.
