You will instantly relax as you drive up to the newly renovated Wild Oak Ranch Retreat and see the 180 degree views! Pure privacy and relaxation on over 20 acres yet just a short drive to local wineries and tasting rooms. A perfect getaway for your family or friends to escape, relax, soak in the fresh air and enjoy all that wine country has to offer. From the hammock with views, to the spacious layout, to a leisurely walk down the dirt road to check out the local horses and farm animals, this property is made for relaxing and recharging in nature with all of the hotel-like amenities you'll need to feel right at home.

This property has a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath house that sleeps 6 (one king and two queen beds) and a bunk house that sleeps an additional 6. The bunk house is a newly renovated guest house that has two bunk beds, both with a full on the bottom and a twin on top. It also has a beautiful newly renovated bathroom with tile walk in shower. The entire property can sleep up to 10.

THE LOCATION:

This recently renovated home sits atop a private 20 acre estate with wildlife and gorgeous sunrise and sunset views. Enjoy the splendors of the Santa Rita hills including the award winning La Purisima Golf course, countless vineyards and tasting rooms, or travel by foot or horseback to picturesque trails surrounding the La Purisima Mission State Park.

As the sun sets, enjoy your favorite glass of wine while soaking up the golden hour with bare feet in plush green grass. Then enjoy a friendly encounter with the neighborhood deer as they meander through the property while complete silence and star-filled skies welcome you into night.

For equestrian lovers, the fenced corral allows for two horses. Nearby trails allow you to ride directly from the home to the gorgeous trails of La Purisima Mission State Historical Park.

This home is on a quiet country road and is ideal for families. PARTIES ARE NOT PERMITTED.

There is NO AC in the house but it is nearly never needed. Open doors and windows for a lovely breeze. There is a floor fan in the master bedroom if needed.

NOTE*** Fires are only allowed with permission during rainy season which is typically Devember-March. But sometimes we do have fires even then so permission is needed.

THE SPACE:

This property has a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath house that sleeps 6 (one king and two queen beds). Perfect for parties of 6 or less. If you have more than 6 people in your party, there’s the bunk house which is a newly renovated guest house that has two bunk beds, both with a full on the bottom and a twin on top, sleeping a total of 4. It also has a beautiful newly renovated bathroom with tile walk in shower. The entire property can sleep up to 10.

Our experience at this property was absolutely fantastic. The host Jayla went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment throughout the stay. Their attentiveness and hospitality truly made us feel welcome. The neighborhood was stunning. The wildlife and horses were amazing ,We were surrounded by beautiful scenery that added an extra special touch to our trip. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a base for exploring the area, this spot is perfect. We encountered no issues during our stay, which speaks volumes about Jayla’s attention to detail and the property's upkeep. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. If you're considering it don't hesitate. It's a gem that we highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and hassle-free stay. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Country hideaway

Wild Oak Ranch is the perfect getaway spot: high on a ridge overlooking the Lompoc valley, it's quiet and peaceful. Our 3-generation family enjoyed the property, especially the tree swing and the neighborhood horses, goats, bunnies and deer. The house was spotless, with one of the best equipped kitchens I've ever seen in a rental. Spacious common areas and very comfortable beds made it the perfect weekend spot for us.

Moms weekend away

The property was absolutely beautiful! The beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was stocked nicely. The best part was the view from the front porch. If we have another opportunity to come to Lompoc we would definitely stay here again.

Love this Country Home

Getaway in the hills

Fantastic stay at a beautiful home nestled in the hills above Lompoc. It takes a little while to get there from the main road but it’s worth the wait. Gorgeous views and a quiet ranch community make it the perfect place to have a big family meal or BBQ. Will defs try to book again when family comes to town.

Great stay at an amazing ranch in a fantastic location

The ranch house was very clean, spacious, and perfectly stocked. The house sits on the top of a hill which sets up for amazing sun sets and sun rises. Overall a great experience and I would stay here again when in the area. The small guest house was also very nice and a perfect place for our swim team to stay and hang out. The only thing to note is that the guest house is not heated or air conditioned. It got chilly at night with out several blankets. Just something to note. Otherwise, a perfect stay!

Great property reasonable price

Only complain I had about this property was that the icemaker didn't work it would've been good to have a heads up just to bring ice. You're a bit in the boondocks so leaving to get ice is a 30 minute endeavor round-trip. my brother is a martini guy so he wanted a martini shaker. We bought one of those too and left it at the house for others to use. The bunkhouse needs a little bit more ventilation or AC. If you have kids it won't matter but we had an adult out there and I felt a bit bad for the heat. Overall, I would stay at the property again it's an excellent choice really easy check in and check out.

Great stay

A+ cleanliness and communication from property management. Beautiful property and mountain views! We loved the rural experience, including seeing deer both days (be careful while driving in the area). Highly recommend and will look to book again for our next Lompoc visit!

Gorgeous view.... pretty home

The view is stunning. Overall the home is great. I would like the bedding to be cleaner... Also, the bunkhouse is quite a distance from the main home, so, not really appropriate for young children to sleep in without an adult. The managers were extremely accommodating.

A Lovely Retreat

This house is in a wide-open area with beautiful views! The home was very clean and the kitchen well-stocked. There were nice extras like corn hole, puzzles, and coffee. The property managers were very helpful and communicative. It was about a 20 minute drive to Solvang, which was fun. It rained for our whole trip but the wood-burning stove was delightful!

Great place

Great hosts, very accommodating. Fantastic location, in closer proximity to Solvang. Pesce and quiet. The house is self sufficient, once you get there with provisions, no need to get anywhere else. The hosts were fantastic. The property is very well kept. It poured in one day we were there, the hosts had enough stuff to do in the house between board games, movies and a warm fireplace to keep that kindle going. Thanks for everything!!!

Breathing taking views, great kid area and whole family kitchen and family space.

This house truly exceeded our expectations. First of all, the views were breathtaking all day, especially the sunsets. We enjoyed deer crossing and grazing on the property, daily nature walks on 20 acres, and amazing star gazing every night. The kids loved the separate Bunk House with 6 beds and a complete bathroom. There, they all enjoyed being kids while allowing us adults, much needed quiet time in the main house. The main house had all the amenities we needed. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was a nice space to make meals, the living room area was nice for us to all relax and enjoy visiting and the formal dinning area was great for enjoying family meals. We would definitely go back.

Mountain getaway

This was a very nice property the house was very clean and spacious. Kitchen was very functional. Very remote and private property on top of the mountain. Lompoc is a cute town with a nice cafe at the bottom of the hill. Property manager was very responsive during the whole process.

Great space and location

We loved staying here. The house is comfortable, with good WiFi, working kitchen, good showers and comfy couches and sitting area. The deer passed by at least twice a day, and we saw numerous birds. Though we needed the space for post-surgery recuperating, we are considering returning for a family vacation.

Perfect Country Getaway

I have stayed in a lot of places all over the world, and this property is truly special. The beauty of the scenery can't be overestimated, and the house is perfectly positioned to let guests soak it all in. The master bedroom is nicely separated from the rest of the house and the soaking tub is a delight on cool winter night. The kitchen and grill are great for taking advantage of all the amazing local produce and meats available. The location is also a great balance between a remote feeling and being able to get to town in about 12 minutes. All in all one of the best properties I've stayed in.
