"We used to be regulars at Tre Ysgawan but never again. The entire vibe of the place has changed, there were renovations going on, the staff were not as friendly, and we were put in a room over the main bar so we didn’t get any sleep until it closed which we were promised it would and it didn’t. In the spa we were always offered a drinks service before but not this time. I don’t know what changed but this isn’t the same place."

"I stayed here for only one night in a single room. The view from my window of the water was peaceful and, although facing the road, it was not a busy road. Unfortunately the bar was located directly below my room and the noise from there carried. Breakfast was adequate, with the dining room overlooking the water too. Despite the noisy bedroom, I'd choose to stay here again as it was conveniently situated."

"We were surprised to find that guests have to pay an additional fee for parking. The building is quite old, so the ventilation wasn’t great and the room felt quite stuffy. Even though it was already the end of August, the room still felt quite warm and poorly ventilated. At night, there was also quite a lot of noise coming from the hotel kitchen downstairs, which was quite disturbing. Apart from these points, the staff were all very nice and friendly."
