"This is a gem of a hotel in a beautiful little town. The staff were very nice & helpful. The room was beautiful, spacious & clean. I will stay here again - no question. Re amenities- pleas include conditioner with shampoo & body wash which were great products!

"Large, clean room with great views across to Edinburgh. Staff were great and a special mention goes to the waiter in the restaurant and the breakfast waiter. Really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was fab. The only negative is please don't skimp on toilet paper. That fear of your finger going through causes great anxiety. Spend a little more on quality roll! Parking at the nearby station was easy which makes this place a great base for visits to Edinburgh."

"Sandy and Cathy are the perfect hosts who just can’t do enough for you. They helped me find the cheapest deal, the best scotch pies and the best butcher to get all my bits to bring back home. They made me feel very welcome in their home and I even went to bingo with Cathy one day! Fantastic couple"
