"This was our first time to Exuma and we didn’t know what to expect. But as soon as we got to the Hideaways they went above and beyond to make us feel special and help to celebrate our 30th anniversary . The front desk guy Tevin Turtle was so sweet and he decorated our little villa with rose petals and a sign and fresh flowers! We were blown away by the thoughtful gesture! The bed was very comfortable and the one bedroom + liven area was plenty big enough for just my husband and I. The whole villa was very clean updated . Hideways is very centrally located and which makes it easy to get to restaurants and so many gorgeous beaches . We loved staying there.Its a very relaxing peaceful place. They provide alot of amenities. Coffee and Bath products . You are also allotted two beach towels. We did not get to eat at splash but we heard it was good. I already want to plan a return trip !"

"We rent properties a couple of times per year in the Exumas for about 8 years now and we haven't had a terrible experience yet. If we grade them all we would have to say the it was unanimous that this property is the cream of the crop. We rent small boats each time so we need a dock otherwise you'll have to return the boat and pick it up every day and that's not condusive to a fun and easy vacay. We purposely rent small skiffs so we can get to some treasure beaches that not many people have access to and they are BUCKET LIST beaches. This property is the closest to all our secret spots. Outstanding views, a beach in the back yard and a pool as well. The property has just about every large or small amenity you can think of. We lacked nothing. Angelique was a doll. I'm not a fan of giving nothing but 5 stars to a place because there's always a little hiccup here and there but not here. Bring your bikini and swim shorts. Nothing else is needed. Thanks to the staff/team for a spectacular vacation with my wife and kids. Very grateful!!!!!"

"Overall this was a wonderful property! We would absolutely stay here again. Communication with the owner was fantastic! There were a few minor issues throughout the week and some maintenance items that need addressed but this is typical with most houses on Exuma. Highly recommended!"

"The house a few issues while we were there but the property manager was quick to respond and resolve issues as best as she could. Can’t beat the location of Papaya House. The views and secluded beach are just amazing!"

A Slice Of Tropical Paradise

"This truly is a slice of paradise! This was our first trip to Exuma to celebrate our 25th anniversary. This home is perfectly placed, stocked and cleaned!When I first booked, I reached out to the host to add a day, no issue! Then halfway through our stay, my husband and I found a way to stay one more day, contacted host again, not an issue! This place is laid out nicely if you like to cook dinner while hanging out watching movies. The 2 bedrooms are perfectly split by the bathroom. The closets have extra linens, towels, and ALL the beach gear you'd need. Chairs, floaties, beach towels. A lot of thought has been put into this home for you to enjoy your time! Read their log book! So much great info, I'm not kidding! Literally everything you need to know! We got up early to watch the sunrise, went throughout the island to visit other beaches and almost every night watched the sunset. It's really neat spot to be able to catch both. Let me tell you this: You are going to fall in love. You are going to try and figure out a way to live on this island forever. You are going to love the beaches, the people, the food, the drinks and find yourself trying to figure out how you can find conch salad back in your boring state. I joke, but this is truly a magical spot and if I'm ever so lucky enough to make it back, I want to stay at this exact spot."

"We were met by the Kay and she had stocked our refrigerator with all the things requested. The house was the perfect size for our family of four. The access to the beach was wonderful and we took advantage of the kayaks provided as well. Jack was great at answering all of my questions….and trust me I had a lot. He gave great suggestions and resources to help the trip to so smoothly! It is truly a piece of paradise and I would definitely stay there again!!"
