"I was advised by staff at the Cottonwood Boutique Hotel that their sister hotel, the Ocean View Hotel was closed due to maintenance. So I can not give you feedback for that stay. However, I was given a room at the Cottonwood Boutique Hotel instead. Normally when I stay at the Cottonwood Hotel it is for a break and I always book the ocean view room. Best Western Plus The Connaught Hotel & Spa

"Clean, spacious room. Very comfortable stay. Staff polite and helpful. Very easy access to the beach. Slightly outside of town so limited selection of restaurants and cafes locally (recommend Goat & Tricycle pub down the road), but most of what you want is within 10 minutes' walk. Breakfast is fairly expensive for a standard hotel buffet. Okay if staying for a night or two, but would suggest skipping the buffet and going to a local cafe if staying longer. Much better food (and better value!)."

"Amazing hotel with super friendly staff. We had one dinner at the hotel and the included breakfast which was delicious. The bar area is really comfortable and the bar staff were outstanding. The room was very comfortable with added details like luxury toiletries, board games, nespresso machine, Dyson hairdryer and Roberts radio. We will return. "
