"This is the best airport hotel at Liberia. After a long day of travel, they have all that you need to start your travels restored and refreshed. I especially loved the convenience of a car rental desk right in the lobby. Special thanks to Ian who made our rental so easy."
"The property grounds were nice and well kept, the staff were friendly but the rooms are basic with no amenities but were clean enough. The hotel could use an update. The stay for the value was adequate. "
Planet Hollywood Costa Rica by Royalton, An Autograph Collection All-Inclusive Resort
6/10 Okay
"All Star Goes to Staff and their Effort. I had all along a very good stay but 2 times had almost horrible experiences.
1. there is no onsite taxi service and the onsite tour service nexus tours were not really very coordinated.
2. Food at the italian place was sent all burnt. food at the mexican restruant was delayed for like 40 mins. there was a clear discrimination for people like me.
the condition where they dont have any taxi or onsite shuttle almost could have cost me few grands of USD to loose my flight and stranded. I felt if i would have had a medical emergency then Planet Hollywood didn't have anyone on call or "star class" member benefit had nothing. something to be mindful if planning to book a stay here."
"The property was beautiful and well kept. The beach views are spectacular. The entire staff from the front desk, wait staff, bartenders, cleaning crew, were all so welcoming, helpful and truly nice people.
The resort is very peaceful and not overcrowded. The food and drinks were great. Our room was very clean and kept that way by maid service. Our family had a great time and can’t wait to go back"
"Our family of 6 stayed in the family suite for 3 nights. 2 double beds and a separate room with a king bed, 1 bathroom. The 1 bathroom was a little tricky especially in the morning and at shower time, but we made it work. Our only complaint for the room is no hot water for showers, but maybe this is throughout the property.
We liked the food as it was more authentic than a different property we stayed at right before going to Condovac. We would've liked the buffet eggs at breakfast to be more cooked.
We loved the setting being higher in the mountains, a lot of animals, a short walk (or shuttle ride provided by the property) to the beautiful beach and a little store right by the beach for souvenirs or to restock toiletries/snacks. The shuttle became a great option as we tired from walking up the steep road to the main part of the resort.
The main part is where the pools are, the dining hall with plenty of seating, a bath house & workout building with weights and cardio equipment. We enjoyed the lizards and iguanas walking around the pool deck! Listening to and seeing howler monkeys! We wish there were more pool chairs/loungers. Too few of loungers for even half the guests to use. They were taken quickly and people were not shy about leaving a towel on it while they weren't using it for hours at a time.
The 4 pools were very clean. Beautiful infinity pools! Wading area and shallow pool for younger kids. Staff was awesome 24/7!!! "
