The hotel is located in an excellent spot in walking distance to shopping, Pikes Market and the monorail. There's no microwave in the room, so if you have kids and need to warm up food, it's an extra charge to have put in your room. The second elevator is not working and apparently it has been down for some time, about a year. Although, the hotel is not a resort or offered anything special, guests are charged $20 per night. The front desk couldn't really explain why this exorbitant fee was added to the bill.

Very small room, long hallways, one elevator, lots of train noise all night fireplace that doesn’t turn off, Toilet lever had to be held down very long for it to work. Mariners game not available in the bar - just the scenic reel that ran after the World Cup game. Dated and overpriced. Surprise “resort fee” charged upon check-in. No breakfast available until 7:00.

"First of all, you basically check yourself in so completely unsure of why there were 2 staff people. One of them did walk out to point in the direction of our room/lodge. We did not have a "kitchenette" as advertised. Overall, the place was clean and ok for the night."

"Check-in was easy but the person behind the desk was unfriendly (no smiles or greetings) and didn't seem like she wanted to be disturbed. The property and room was nice and clean. We booked the suite. It was a neat concept and clean, but the room felt like a converted common space with a bathroom ..."
