"It is an old hotel bed and breakfast. The staff are very friendly and kind but limited. There are maybe two employees that seem to run the hotel and restaurant. The rooms and overall hotel need an upgrade. The hotel was overall ok but the room carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced. It was noticeably dirty from normal use and didn't help give a sense of cleanliness. It was moderately priced so not a costly option. The location was nice but fairly far from the major city of Endinburgh."

"Location was perfect, bus stop right outside. Room and bathroom werr very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included in our booking but the guesthouse doesn't provide breakfast, had to fight with hotels.com to get some money back. "

"Very central, lovely host, good communication. Found a hair in the shower, no plugs in the bedroom, the floors were dirty, stood on something resembling an old chewing gum..."
