Upon request, I had specifically asked for a room with a pleasant view and proximity to the elevator, but instead, we were assigned a room overlooking the dumpster. Given the likelihood of a packed weekend, a courtesy notification would have been appreciated rather than a blanket confirmation. Unfortunately, the elevator's age was evident, and its breakdown during our stay further exacerbated the inconvenience, necessitating a 30-step from our room to the functioning one. While our experience was disappointing, it served as a valuable lesson. With some improvements, the establishment could enhance its overall quality."

"My room was large, bright and comfortable. Daily housekeeping was very good, especially during the week.Great location. Access to transit excellent, also easy to walk to all of downtown. Some construction going on inside so sometimes noisy in main areas. I would have liked to be able to get a light breakfast of coffee and toast rather than only have option of $20++ for a buffet. My biggest concern was lack of warmth in the reception staff. I was there for two weeks and the only time staff spoke to me or even acknowledged me with a smile was when I approached the desk. Staff didn't acknowledge me or other guests either when we/they passed in the hall or when I sat in the lobby to knit each day. Eye contact and smiles would have gone a long way to personalise my stay. "

"This is the best hotel in Montreal. Easy check in process, front desk staff are amazing, parking is easy, food is delicious (breakfast buffet), and balconies are handy. Really enjoy having a kitchenette everytime as well. Will always visit when in Montreal. Close to everything as well."
