"The bed and pillows were so comfy!! Only downfall was the breakfast was broken so only muffins and cereal were available."

"My wife and I had such a romantic time here!"

"Would have liked to have talked to someone at some at some point. I always ask about places to see, points of interest, local hikes, etc. Also, an ice machine in the office would be a great addition. We enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and relaxing."

"Beautiful setting! Unique property Rustic yet sophisticated. Food is outstanding Music on the porch on Sundays is wonderful"

"Location was excellent, room was clean and spacious, food was delicious both dinner in the restaurant and complimentary breakfast. I would definitely return if in the area."

"Perfectly located in town. Easy self checkin. Comfortable and clean. We had a great stay."

"No breakfast (expected with high cost of the room). No coffee. Rooms not updated. Bathroom was tiny. Poor value for the cost of the room. Room doors open to outside."

"Kelly of the housekeeping staff really went above and beyond in helping us find a stepstool solution so my wife could get back up into our truck. Kelly also helped get her wheelchair into the room. The exterior spaces are under construction or in need of maintenance. Breakfast was a true Southern experience and a good fit if you are planning to bike the Virginia Creeper. The bathrooms are shared among the guests with the exception of the Honeymoon Suite, which is huge. The estate is minutes from the trail and the outfitters who support bikers and...

"Our stay was most enjoyable. Accomodations were great. Coffee 24/7! Our hosts were friendly. The downtown location allowed us access to a grocery store, eateries, souvenirs, etc. We will return."

"Good value for the price, but it's right next to the highway so the noise was awful. I expected them to have some noise mitigation measures in place, but there were none."

"Bathroom was filthy. Bathtub was dirty and stained. Floors were dirty and every corner was caked with dirt in the bathroom. No bkankets on bed. Bottom sheet was inside out and stained."

"Pretty good value"

"It was clean and comfortable. There was somewhat of a slow response at check in. But everything was fine."
