While exploring the Hocking Hills we’ve got you covered for the in-between times. There is a playground for the kids, high-speed internet with wifi for all your devices, a spacious yard for your dog(s) to enjoy and peace and quiet for you... it doesn’t get much better than this!

Entire property, no shared spaces.

I do not live on site. However, I'm only a phone call or message away if something is needed.

Explore Hocking Hills and nearby parks like Rising Park and Clear Creek Metro

If a guest has limited mobility, there are 2 steps to get onto the covered porch. We do have a portable ramp that can be left if requested for wheel chair. Wheel chair accessibility on the first floor for access to kitchen, bathroom, family room, and first-floor bedroom. Please let me know prior to booking what accommodations would be needed for your stay.

Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on-site 24/7.
- Age 25 and older for primary guest that will be staying the whole reservation

- No more than 2 dogs. Must notify prior to arrival. Dogs have to be kept on leash outdoors.

-Do not wander into neighbors' property. Please stay within the orange flagged areas.

- Two sets of stairs, one leading upstairs and one leading to walk out basement. Please bring your expandable gates if needed for small children.

Very good for families with children. Tiny bit of an issue with water pressure when everyone was trying to get ready in the morning. Inside very clean. Outside was good, but maybe a power wash? Overall, a great stay. Host was very responsive. Easy check in.

I want to start by saying that our family, which included 4 generations, had a great weekend spending time together. We enjoyed the area and the amenities the home offered. For us the devil was in the details with this home. We specifically looked for 6 bedroom homes, this one, although listed as a 6 bedroom is a 5 bedroom with a sleeping loft. (We learned that a loft can be listed as a bedroom per VRBO but did not feel it was clear in the listing, maybe my fault for not reading better or asking more questions.) And 1 of the bedrooms has a glass door and open window (no glass) to the open room below, so no sound barrier. There were not enough coffee cups for our group and only 3/4 drinking glasses. The oven was so dirty we did not use it, the toaster worked but was broken, the dishwasher was not attached to the cupboard and tipped out when opened (but it did work). The blender lid was broken but the owner had a new one shipped overnight knowing it was something we had asked for (which was much appreciated!) When we reported these and several other issues the owner did offer to come the next day and fix the things that could be taken care of, however due to napping babies and planned outings we did decline. It was close enough to go to Hocking Hills for a day, we found a fantastic children's museum in Lancaster that our toddler's really enjoyed. We would not choose to stay again. For us we did not feel we got a good product for the , however the family time was precious.

Nice cabin in the country. Property is very private, you don’t even know that there are nearby homes. Very nice location not far from Hocking Hills.

Light in up stair in restroom not working,celling fan on 3rd floor not working,all the cars got scratched from the tree's not being trimmed upon entry, back deck dirty had to clean off before use,pit area in back not usable chairs and cushions wet and dirty.only 2 wash clothes were available.paid to much for the place to have not been able to enjoy the stay. Had to go on a man hunt for pots and pans not organized at all. Need a full make over.was charged 900 dollar extra for guest over 6 because i didnt change my guest count.which i forgot but surely didnt think it would matter being that the property held 16 guest. Will i stay here again no.

Perfect Family Vacation

We had 9 adults, 1 teenager, 2 little kids and 2 dogs. This was the perfect place for us, plenty of room, had a blast with the games and the bonfire pit. Everything we wanted to do was a short drive awat but we felt like we were secluded in the woods. It's a very private, beautiful property.

Great family friendly stay

This cabin was one of the best ones I've stayed at so far. The manager was absolutely amazing and responded quickly to any questions that we had. Its a great family friendly (pet friendly too). Even though we had rain almost eveyday the kids (in all age groups) never was bored. I would absolutely come back again in the future and recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Nice house for a large family

This house is a great house for the number of people in our family. Our family ranges in ages 1 to 85. The downstairs bedroom was ideal for our older two, and the upstairs accomodated our younger members perfectly with 3 sleeping in the large basement bedroom. The location of the house is great, too. It is close to Lancaster where we enjoyed Rising Park, and not too far from Hocking Hills State Park where we enjoyed hiking! Overall, this house was wonderful for our family. Our host, Elizabeth, was the best, very friendly and helpful.

Great place for large group-close to Lancaster

Very cozy comfortable home. Had plenty of room for 6 of us to stay with much more room to spare. Everything you need in the kitchen. Just minutes from Lancaster center where we’re visiting family. Would stay here again. Thank you!

Beautiful

We rented this property to spend Thanksgiving with our adult children. The host was very responsive and helpful. My only recommendation would be for blankets on the beds in addition to the quilts during cold weather. Would definitely recommend!.

Family fun!

This was a long weekend trip for my husband, me, 3 adult daughters, 2 husbands & 2 grandkids. We had a great time! Used the hot tub, fire pit, pool table, air hockey, & playground all provided at the cabin! So many things to do within just a few miles: Hiking, trails for our OHV, shopping, flea market & antiques shops! Elizabeth gave us a tour of the large cabin & was quick to respond to any questions we had throughout our stay. We enjoyed our stay so much & plan to make this an annual family event!

not as pictured

This is a beautiful cabin that is not maintained. There is a lot of garbage stacked around and throughout the house. weeds landscaping all overgrown including poison Ivy growing near the basket ball hoop. Mouse droppings in the kitchen drawers. Owner said they have traps poison outside but didn't clean the mess they made inside.
