Sirio and Ilenia were both very helpful when we had questions and also gave us lots of information on what to do in the area, and great places to eat. Thank you so much for a great holiday!"

"We were disappointed on a few aspects of the place but it was good overall.The Bad: The place reeked of smoke. It was listed as a non-smoking unit but that rule had clearly not been respected for a long time, or by many people. It was apparent every time you walked in. The bathroom curtain had a burn mark as evidence. Every time we came into the apartment it was awful and we had to open the windows.The shower unit isn't fully functional, only the handheld mobile shower head works, not the overhead or other jets it came with. The pull-out couch is not great quality, it appears to be new, but it is of the kind where the frame makes different angles after unfolding and I would wake up with a sore back as a result.The Good: The rest of the place was clean, the kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, and utensils. There was lots of closet space, coat hangers, shelves, etc. the other utilities and amenities were good. There was a nice view. The price was excellent. The location is great.Some final thoughts, I dont think it deserves the current 9.8/10 on VRBO. Not sure how it got that high of a score, but, if it gets properly cleaned, the shower repaired or better yet replaced, and gets a better pull-out or actual bed it certainly would be a great place to stay."

"I can confirm all my previous reviewer. Lets start with the good things. The most important parts of the house are renovated. The kitchen is fully equipped. The view from the balcony is amazing. The negative points: Although problems with the wifi were known beforehand, they were only communicated right before the checkin. The problem wasnt resolved during the stay and communication with host was meanwhile poor. You have to walk a very long (200m), unlit and unpaved path from the parking to the building, which is not suitable for handicapped people. This could have been communicated beforehand!"

"Very nice, very well-equipped, and an amazingly interesting location in Castle Square. The one complaint -- which kept me from giving five stars --was by the person who slept the first week in the hide-a-bed. She felt it was uncomfortable. but she otherwise was very happy with the apartment.."

"The house was beautiful and spacious, very comfortable for a family of 7 adults. Restaurants, coffee shops, grocery store and hiking options were walkable. Bus and water transportation was within walking distance. We would return to this house. "

"Absolutely beautiful villa! It has been a dream of mine to rent a villa on Lake Como, and this property did not disappoint! Deborah was very kind and thorough and the home was very well taken care of. The lakefront access was amazing and there were several restaurants within walking distance. Overall, our party of 6 had a dream stay!"
