"Room was extremely clean, but the furniture is in need of an overhaul. Had expected a whirlpool bath but shower only, though shower itself was top notch. Beds need an upgrade as well, most hotels of the caliber have gone hybrid foam or hybrid coil. TV is too small given room size which is quite spacious. A scolding from the valet for improper check-in didnt sit well either. Matter of fact, the hotel might consider a conversation about quest etiquette with the whole valet staff. Gorgeous hotel and grounds. Close to central Taos which is a plus. "

"Or stay at this property was absolutely wonderful. Our rooms were clean and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and luxurious. When you walk into the main house you just get this old world New Mexico vibe that takes you back in time. Fireplaces were crackling and guests were really made to feel welcome for a respite after a long day of travel. We arrived in the evening and it was so peaceful and serene. If you're looking for solitude, this is definitely the place to stay. The breakfast was also delicious. They served homemade quiche, bagels, fresh fruit and yogurt, fresh pastries, juices, and assorted coffees and teas. I wish I had a longer stay, but I will definitely return. I couldn't ask for a better stay or better host. "

"Melissa’s space was very easy to find, in a great location and was much more spacious than we thought it would be.She’s very accommodating for pets, we brought our dog and sheets were provided for the couch so our dog could be comfortable while we were there.We felt very at home and the surrounding area was very walkable!"

"I’m going to preface this by saying we are a senior couple traveling by car with a small dog - so that really colors the success of our staying here. First of all, the location is great. You are literally 100 yards from the Taos Square. Parking is not bad, there’s a city lot immediately in front of the apartment. The apartment is exactly as advertised. It’s small but very cute and has a totally authentic Taos/Santa Fe vibe. So here’s the deal - if you are traveling lite, without much luggage/gear and you will be eating out every meal, you’ll find this place great. For us, with two big suitcases and all the dog gear it was a bit small. And, with the dog, we are usually look for take out to eat in the room. The good news with this apartment is that there are two great restaurants on the same block, just a bit cramped eating in the room and no good way to deal with dirty dishes. "
