"A short and sweet stay, but lovely views from the room, fantastic grounds and very relaxing; especially after a few days in the busy heart of London. The bed is very large and super comfortable. Will be returning when back in the Cotswolds."
"Unfortunately our room (in the old part of the hotel complex) didn’t have hot water, the Aircon didn’t work, the breakfast buffet was, for many components, cold. We were the first at breakfast, so maybe the hot plates hadn’t heated up the food yet.
The staff when we arrived, and for dinner, were very helpful, less so in the morning.
I have stayed at the same hotel previously, it is doubtful we’ll stay there again."
"I enjoyed my stay! The breakfast was excellent!! Only reason why I gave a 4 star was because on several occasions when Room service cleaned the rooms they won’t change the beddings and sheets had to call several times to get them to change it. But I will definitely be booking again."
"The room at the hotel was lovely very clean and the staff were amazing but the dining experience left a lot to be desired. We were advised to book for what was described as a carvery type meal which we did but could only get one slot at 6.30 so booed that. We decided as there was such a long wait to go to the Knights tavern for a drink first and we saw the food being served and it looked really good so we asked if we could cancel the buffet and order there which we did and paid for the meal....
"The stay was for elders family members and the team looked after every one of them and ensured there was no issues in terms of accessibility or other requests.
Areas were given to us to ensure we could have a relaxed evening family time and also timed sessions for meal times.
The hotel is great for the pool and spa areas and also for vegetarian members."
