"There were bugs in our room, as well as a dirty razor in our shower and the drain area on the shower was also very dirty. Although the room itself is upgraded, the hallways and wider hotel are not. We were told to email the hotel with pictures of the bugs, which we did, and we have not heard back."

"The resort fee was not worth the price as the pool was so small and cold it was not enjoyable. Beach towels and chairs would have been nice too."

"This property was easy to find, centrally located and suited our needs. We extended our Maui trip, on short notice, by one day and this was an economical way to do one more overnight. The property is fine, with several amenities we did not make use of. The shared spaces were clean and well maintained. Our assigned room was clean, comfortable and provided good rest. All in all, what we expected and accurately described in the Expedia listing."

"Alfter many wonderful stays at the Maui Coast... it was surprising to have a noisy room. It was close to the pool entrance, parking lot entrance, dinging elevator and water machine. It was hard to enjoy Maui after so little sleep. No other room was available on any of the 3 nights I was there."

"Room was a double bedroom with all the amenities one can find in a normal living apartment including washer dryer inside the unit. Great place to stay"

"Its good. They plan activities everyday. So even without an itinerary, you can roam around in Maui."

"Historic beach inn on the Main Street with tiny water access. Busy street. Extremely limited parking. We had to park on the public street. Renovated rooms are nice but the property asa whole doesn’t have distinctions that make it worth the price. Mash up of street front hotel with acquired buildings behind it up to water front."

"We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very kind and helpful and they had made us feel at home during our stay. Very clean and comfortable hotel."

"Grounds were beautiful. Beach view and access great. Quality of condo was in need of refreshing. Some broken doors, and in need of repair. The condo was clean."

"Beautifully restored historic inn and gardens. A lovely retreat from Honolulu!"

"This is not a hotel or motel. You need to slide open the gate in order to enter and leave the property. The grounds keeper was very helpful and a pleasure to visit with. Shared bathroom and very clean."

"Absolutely an amazing place. Very nice, clean, comfortable. We stayed in B104 and it is a perfect spot to get in and out. Definitely come back again."
