"Our family spent just one night at the hotel, but wished we could have stayed longer. The location is unbeatable though getting there by public transport may be a challenge. We drove and there was enough parking even though it was shared with beach-goers. The hotel itself has only two spots by its entrance.Service was excellent and check-in was quick and efficient. "Ginsyou is an older, well maintained property. Not all that modern. We ordered the dinner and breakfast at the hotel and found it to be way over the top. We could barely get through the dinner, as there was so much of it. The breakfast also consisted of some rather unusual food that my stomach could not tolerate in the morning. And there was no coffee with it. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, though. "

"As the name suggests, the hotel is literally seconds from the station. As such, you are close to many restaurants and shops. As it was extremely hot during our stay, it was a big plus being able to navigate to the different restaurants and shops without having to leave the comfort of air conditioning during the hottest parts of the day. We would highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, the friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff and its great location. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we're in Kagoshima! Can't say enough good things about this hotel."
