"This hotel is located in an older 7 story building in the middle of Freeport IL. This area appears to be blighted with homeless and older Section 8 housing nearby so the 2 parking lots to the south and west of the facility are somewhat sketchy. With that being said the hotel staff are first rate and. Very accommodating. The breakfast was very good and the rooms were flawless. I would definitely stay at this property again in the future."

"We found the place to be very clean and convenient. I would recommend spending the extra money for an actual key card just in case you have issues with the electronic key you are provided. We did find it a bit odd that upon check in the front desk was folding sheets in the lobby and on the actual desk while checking in. The room was great. Comfy bed and very clean! Would stay again for sure. Great location downtown."

"It's literally like camping...I love that feel. The owner is very nice and extremely accommodating. We arrived really late and everyone was gone for the day but she made sure to leave an envelope where we would see it to let us know where our key wàs. She did all this even before receiving payment.(We book through hotels.com and it has you pay at the property at the owners request). Very peaceful and quiet. It is also like it's own little world with a small general store, gas station, diner and a miniatue golf course. I highly recommend this place!!!"
