"great stay as usual."

"Great hotel. Lovely room, nice breakfast and evening meal. Good location, right next to the town"

"Very nice hotel, friendly staff, easy check-in, lots of parking. Had no issues with noise. Nice bed, plenty of pillows, big TV, everything you'd expect from a hotel stay. Breakfast buffet included and was good. Would definitely stay again."

"The car park is quite far from reception and all the signs don’t really make sense. Check in was handing me a key after having to call a mobile number that had been left on the desk. No further information like how to get to the room and breakfast. Room was really far away and I had to carry lots of personal items and was a struggle. I paid for late check out to midday and had people knocking on the door at 10.30 asking why I was still in room. Room was clean, slept well and lounges at...

"Location"

"The room was a reasonable size with a king size bed and a small en suite. However, we found a large stain (possibly blood) on the corner of the mattress topper. We also found one of the windows couldn't be open due to it having parcel tape stuck over window and frame. This looked messy and botched. It was a cold room and when we went to turn the radiators on they were filthy with dust and debris in the grills!! We complained to the receptionists who immediately arranged to move us to another...

"This is a delightful place. The staff is wonderful. The building is charming"

"We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. Loved the different options to normal offerings with overnight oats and yoghurt smoothies. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely dog friendly hotel which we’d love to...

"Ideal location with free parking. Room only- no food or drink offering but ideal if you just need a base. Plenty of places close by for food and drink. Tea and Coffee making facilities in the room with biscuits. Clean and comfortable overlooking the cricket pitch."

"Old Swan Hotel Marvellous - We found this hotel very charming. Upon arriving, the reception lady was very welcoming and friendly. We booked an Executive Suite - great value for money. Suite was very clean and very spacious. However, does need updating as no aircon, no USB plus sockets and furniture very dated. Dining room very beautiful, staff friendly and breakfast delicious. Beautiful lounge areas to relax in. Would I stay again - absolutely. Would I recommend - absolutely."

"The accommodation is very good and the restaurant is of a very high standard. The carvery is worth a special mention. All the hotel staff delivered service that made us feel valued."
