"Entire facility needs cleaning and repair work. Pool is out of commission. 2 of the lamps on my room were missing pieces. Toilet in bathroom looked as if someone defecated in the toilet and left it there. The inside of the toilet is brown. The shower curtain had mold on it. There was a “critter trap” under the sink in the bathroom. The bottom of the cabinet in the bathroom is completely missing. Main floor and lobby area need repairs. 2 leather chairs across from check-in have torn seats and are missing most of the seat overs. Air Condition vent had mold and dirt on it."

"This was the first time in 8 years, I've ever experienced this at the Hampton.. #1--Bathroom toilet kept getting stopped up. #2--The room had moist on the floor by the a/c unit. #3--The ceiling inside the room was puffed from moisture #4--Tournament going on, kids running thru the hallways 2-4 am in the morning. #5--I think pet friendly hotels, shd have all pets on one floor, I watched as people were passing, dogs were growling at them. This time at the hotel, it was truly a horrible experience for me..I should be compensated some of my funds back or free hotel stay for my next visit. Very dissatisfied customer☹️☹️"

"While the hotel itself met basic needs, there were several aspects of the experience that fell short. The lobby felt dated and in need of refreshing. On one evening, a homeless individual was in the lobby handling and playing with the sugar packets in the guest beverage area. The front desk attendant appeared aware of the situation but did not intervene, which raised concerns about cleanliness, guest comfort, and overall attentiveness to the common areas. Additionally, I was disappointed that a complimentary transfer to another nearby hotel within the same brand family was not available. My business was in South Baton Rouge, while this property was located in North Baton Rouge, making it less convenient for my stay. The surrounding area also felt somewhat isolated and appeared more rundown than expected, which detracted from the overall experience. I will be more cautious when choosing and not make this mistake again. Not recommended."

"Quaint townhouse in Baton Rouge. Easily accessible, simple decor, comfortable beds, nice shower. The townhome was fine for our stay in Baton Rouge. The kitchen is dated, but functional. The home was pretty clean, but could use an overall really good deep cleaning. Both drains in the downstairs bathroom wouldn’t drain or drained really slowly. We reported the concern to the owner. That was the only issue we had."
