The new york design reminded me of home and it was well renovated, master bedroom slept great and gave me the most space i’ve had to myself in a while

Check in simple. House was not clean & there were things broken through the house that we felt were concerning. Extremely stuffy and needed some dusting. Area was okay, made getting around very very easy.

Upon arrival it wasn’t any lights for about 3 hours took extremely long for it to cool off. Next day we was locked out the property for hours. Property was not put back in good condition after previous tenants damaged the property. Spoke with host several times about being refunded some of my money back 3 weeks later still no refund nor response.

Looks like an abandoned building; the place is locked up with padlocks & barbwire on top of the fence; the grass & weeds are overgrown. We wondered if we were expected because the owner had not sent instructions to get in the property, even though I sent a couple messages. I had to find the owner’s phone # to call him. Once we got inside, the abandoned building vibe continued. It is three stories & there are a lot of steps. One of the handrails along the stairs had been pulled out of the wall. Most of the rest of the railings were falling off so that grabbing ahold of them would be more dangerous than not. A glass light fixture above the kitchen island is broken & is now just sharp shards of glass. One full & two half rolls of toilet paper in the whole house for 4 bathrooms, only 1 had hand soap, none had any hand towels. The microwave does not work. The oven may work, but there are no baking dishes to use in an oven. The worst part of the kitchen was spilled sugar and swarm of bugs in the cabinets. We did not prepare any food during our stay. There was a significant amount of food trash (plastic spoons, etc.) and other junk under the bed. The master bedroom has blinds which are too narrow for the windows. As soon as the sun comes up, the room is in full light. There is no iron, ironing board, or hair dryer. When we picked up our dog’s poop we found several older piles as well. I'm out of room to list the various other issues. The owner was insulting. We left a day early.
