"Ideal for Chepstow racecourse. Not much else about the area without walking or taxis. On checki the weirdest thing happened they wouldn’t take payment and told me was a,ready paid for. Rooms we had were small but the bed was comfy. Rooms ok some could do with a lick of paint. Breakfast is ok I’m fussy about food so didn’t eat a lot just toast and coffee but the others in my party had the full English not so sure about paying extra for an extra sausage etc. hotel was very noisy on the Saturday...

"The room was beautifully decorated, very clean and with all the expected amenities. There were no staff on site (the key is left in a lock box). I stayed on Monday night, the restaurant is closed on Mondays (hence no interaction with staff). I left the room early in the morning because I was fed up with the noise and I had...

"We really enjoyed staying at this hotel, the room was a great size and the beds were comfy."

"Highly recommended."

"Solo traveller, one night stop off. Camping hut for two (two single beds) which was warm and cosy. I'd have chosen a kettle over a TV but that's my preference. Stunning surroundings. 3 huts in one very large field so quiet. Excepting unfortunately the noise from the adjacent A road.. which runs alongside the site. Café/ bar on site (this is where reception is) comfy, friendly, good breakfast, views overlooking the pond. Facilities numerous. A good site for families I'd say."

"great place to stay , very friendly husband and wife team, fresh hot cook breakfast, good recomendation for Take"

I am unsure how even loosely the term private bathroom can be used when it’s shared by all guests. Surely this is a shared bathroom. No towels provided either. If this was accurately disclosed we would have never booked at this accommodation. The beds were comfortable and room was warm, breakfast was good but it still remains that we were disappointed with the description and would not...
