"Good motel for the area, close to Baxter State Park. Clean, spacious room, comfortable bed, helpful staff. Only down size is breakfast is very basic that needs little to prepare ahead of time. No boiled eggs, etc. Coffee was weak like most motels. Other than that, it’s a nice motel."

"When I travel I like to cook for myself. This is rarely easy, given that kitchen supplies are often an afterthought in short-term rentals; frequently the kitchens are appointed with a smattering of cast-offs that have found a second life in a rental kitchen. I was so pleased to arrive at Mike and Amy's place and find a truly well-appointed kitchen! Sharp knives! A coffee grinder! Now we're talking. The well appointed kitchen was a cherry on top, but I would have stayed here anyway. As advertised it had everything my daughter and I needed for our once-in-a-lifetime moose hunt: comfortable beds, hot showers, a garage to stage equipment, parking for two vehicles. It is the perfect launchpad for anyone's grand adventure. The home is in a cute neighborhood off the downtown, minutes from restaurants and the grocery store. Even better, it's very close to that very thing that makes this part of Maine special: the wilderness! Access to Baxter State Park, the North Maine Woods, the biggest whitewater in Maine, all close by. The hosts replied within moments of me messaging them. Fortunately, I did not need any assistance, but if I did, I feel confident they would have responded quickly and bent over backwards to help me out. We'll definitely stay again. Thanks for being part of our grand adventure!"

"This is in the Katahdin region and it is easy to get to a lot of outdoor and scenic places. The Inn is worn down but very clean. We did not use the pool or game area but it looked good and others did use it. The coffee and tea machines are ancient but there is a Dunkin’ across the street. We left a little before 6AM but did not see any breakfast prep. We have stayed in the past and will stay again in the future."

"Beautiful and very unique place and amazing spot on the lake. Amazing sunsets and mountain views from the deck and beach. Easy ATV trail network access and only 10 minutes from all the shops and restaurants in Millinocket. Hosts were amazing and zero issues with our stay. Thanks!"

"A perfect quiet place to use as a hub for trekking Baxter State Park. The host, Elizabeth, was always prompt with any messages I sent. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking full meals and the bed was very comfortable."
