"Wonderful family owned mid-range hotel near Katahdin and the Appalachian Trail. They were very accommodating to our group and even let us use their breakfast room for our group celebration. They were a joy to deal with and helped us navigate the area. "

"We had the most wonderful time at this home! The amenities were so thoughtfully prepared—from the basket of Turkish towels for our use, to the local jam & coffee, a nicely outfitted kitchen, and beyond. The home was clean and comfortable, and located in a gorgeous and quiet spot on the lake! The view is really stunning, and the local art featured is such a nice touch. We had a very comfortable and peaceful stay, and are looking forward to making it a tradition!"
"We stayed here to access the amazing Baxter State Park. This was great value for what we paid. The building on the whole is a bit quirky here and there, but our room was great. Spacious, good hot water, bath tub and shower, self-running and quick to respond A/C. Has a lap pool and dry sauna too!"
"Super private and secluded setting right on the lake with GORGEOUS views. Private beach with canoes, kayaks, and a dock (the kids loved all of it). We loved the rustic charm of the house and even though we stayed during the hottest days of the summer, the rooms cooled off nicely at night with the many provided fans! There is an expansive deck to relax on and the outdoor shower was amazing after spending the day by the water or coming back from a hike! There is super fast wi-fi available as well if you need that, but it was nice to just spend time outside away from electronics for a couple days! "
"The apartment was very clean and very comfortable! Check in was easy and the parking was convenient. The kitchen has everything you need in case you want to cook rather than go out (Hannaford’s just down the street). WiFi was fast and reliable. The host was kind and delightful! We enjoyed staying here so much!!"

"Charming home full of character! We had a lovely weekend stay in this home…was super close to our rafting outfitter so it was easy peasy. The “secret” room was a delightful and fun surprise! Traveled with 3 teenagers and a golden and everyone had plenty of space to spread out! Lovely porches!"

"This is a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. The neighbors' views are blocked by trees. The view of the lake through the huge picture windows is amazing. We especially appreciated having a washer & dryer -- no trips to a laundromat! We swam & canoed and every question for the owner was answered promptly."
