Great place to stay, with easy beach access. My family (2 adults, 4 kids) all loved it. Clean, comfortable and nice!

Exactly as shown in the photos. Clean and spacious. I loved the balcony for morning coffee and for evening dinners. We had an amazing view from the 10th floor. I loved the big kitchen. Two grocery stores and the beach very close by. We had the One plus one apartment.

Great room, spotlessly clean, fresh cup of hot tea brought to my room on arrival. Great little town square area of restaurants and pubs just a 2 minutes drive down the street. Would stay again with no hesitation.

Clean room, good communication with the staff. AC worked great. The jacuzzi tub was excellent for tired, weary muscles.

We found our stay and the Maxim to be beyond a 5⭐️ experience. Staff was friendly, attentive, and super helpful. Facilities were immaculate.. Can’t say enough good things about the Maxim.

I arrived after hours and the key retrieval was easy. During the stay the room was cleaned very well and the staff was always friendly and accomdating.

The front desk staff was fantastic. Liani in particular was exceptional. She assisted us on numerous occasions throughout our staff and even assisted with making sure we were able to get the best rate that was appropriate for our stay and our group. Her customer service skills were second to none. I believe she was from South America (possibly Chili). Wherever she's from, the quality of her training and upbringing really showed through. We had a very good stay made better by customer service getting us a shower mat for my husband who has trouble walking. They upgraded us to a higher floor which had a fantastic view. Top notch!

Selected "The Emerald Inn" via internet and it was everything and more than we expected. We spent a week there and it was just what we wanted and needed. The room was very clean and had more than what we expected - range, dishes, etc. It was within easy walking distance of a gorgeous beach, a fantastic restaurant - The Cafe and Bakery. We chose not to rent a car and where able to explore Auckland via bus and ferry as well as other sites. Transportation system makes it easy to get around. ...

Just one night - everything was great. Great view, great service, great room. Everything works in that hotel, fires on all cylinders. Only negative was a bit of noise from the street later into the night.

2 bed suite was perfect for our family of 4. Great views of the city. Awesome location and within minutes walking distance to many amenities: supermarket, cafes/restaurants, library, indoor entertainment centre, mall etc. Clean, comfortable, quiet, well resourced mini kitchen area and full sized fridge freezer. Washing and drying facilities in apartment. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend for other families.

Retro style decor which is refreshingly unique. Very close to the harbor, Maritime Museum, Queen's Wharf, and shopping. Only negative is lack of convenient spaces for suitcases.

The location was perfect!! Everything about it was great!

The newest hotel of the three in the chain at Sky City. Absolutely beautiful hotel. We saved the best for last. Accommodations were outstanding. Front desk stored on luggage on the last day b/c we had a late flight. Even offered us to use the workout facility to shower before we left for the airport-a first for me. The Grill Restaurant at the hotel food and service gets a 5 star rating. Ir is now my place to stay in Auckland.
