"Myself and my mother stayed in adjacent cottages which were spacious, clean and comfortable, and only had a few steps for my aging mother. The food and staff were excellent and the property/decor was sharp. I'll be back"

"It was ok. Room was on the small side and underwhelming view of 'the park' if you wake early, you can see the penguins. However, the park was EXCEPTIONAL and we had a great day. Hotel was ok, There was a staffing problem with the Kitchen but when the food came out it was lovely. Hotel reception staff could have been a little more helpful when income to recommending where to eat. Would stay again, but only if there was an offer on the room price. Air conditioning didnt work"

"Good budget hotel with good size rooms. The bathroom is also roomy with a large shower . This is essentially a business hotel but contains a sofa bed as well as the double , it has a desk and a comfortable office chair the room had easy access tp two lifts . The staff are helpful and friendly the dining and seating areas are near reception which is clean and has plenty of light . The breakfast was buffet and very good ,they also have a dining menu which we did not use . The hotel has good WiFi and free parking . The location was also good 5-6 miles from Barnsley ,with a supermarket opposite and easy access to low cost restaurants and fast food outlets . The hotel is also very close to a country park . A few niggly problems ,our last stay at a different Holiday Inn the sink had no plug ,this one had one but it was broken . There was a problem with the electrical socket but we were moved to a different room . Also found the air condition a little noisy at night . Yes we liked this hotel"

"I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a great place to relax after a long day. The location was also very convenient, especially for anyone travelling by electric car, as there is a rapid EV charger nearby. This made charging the car easy and hassle-free during stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit, which made the experience even better. Overall, a comfortable room, convenient location, and excellent service made this a very enjoyable stay. I would happily stay here again."
