"Right in the middle of town. Walkable to everywhere you need to go. Staff were very friendly. Room was basic but had everything we needed or wanted! Kettle in the room was great for some tea. Breakfast buffet was awesome. Would def stay here again if I come back to Darlington"
"Our stay was somewhat disappointing. The bed was too small for two people and not long enough, making it uncomfortable to sleep. We were assigned a disabled-access room, and unfortunately, the bathroom and toilet had a noticeable smell of urine.
Breakfast was adequate but limited in variety. The poached eggs were undercooked, and the bacon was not crispy. I also observed that some wait staff handled food without gloves — for example, placing croissants in baskets or touching bread directly...
"Actually, the process of booking through Hotels.com the claim of everything must be handled by the hotel is not true. They are not in control of the booking. Hotels.com is in control of the booking so they were not able to amend or cancel the booking and the customer service reps consistently would refer me back to Premier Inn, which had nothing to do with booking the stay"
