"Good value stay. Room was clean, tidy and had everything needed. Parking was also very easy on the street outside."

"Staff were kind and friendly. Food was good in the bar but over priced. My room was grubby, the bedding and bathroom were clean but there was dust and dirt on the ledges and windowsills. No shower gel in the bathroom either. I was also above the kitchen there was lots of banging about outside and a constant humming/droning from what sounded like extractor fans. This did stop around 9pm but then started up again at 10pm. It was really quite loud, I could still hear it when I had my headphones...

"Food , drink and staff were really good. Room was very clean but very noisy could here people in next room even their conversation and our room was at the front so constant traffic noise , lots of lorry’s going by. The double bed in our room (4) was very uncomfortable could feel the springs so not much sleep. Breakfast was interesting bought to your room in a basket ! "

"It is impossible to overstate the standard of the Wensleydale Heifer. The awards affirm the restaurant quality and the standard of accommodation. What they do not evidence is the attention to detail that every member of staff personifies. This is the first opportunity we have had to stay at the Heifer, although we have eaten here before. The hotel was everything we hoped for and will become our "go to" place in the Dales. Thank you for a memorable stay!"

"What amazing stay here for New Year’s Eve . It was the cutest place, the enormous gorgeous Christmas had me sold it was amazing and made it extra special all the little extras all the decorations. "We were given a room at the rear of the hotel which was in a converted annex. This was nicely decorated with basic amenities although we did have a shower and a bath. The accommodation was on 2 floors, with the bathroom on the ground floor and the bedroom on the first floor. This was not very convenient for us when using the bathroom during the night, especially as the stairs were steep and creaked, waking us both each time. There was one chair upstairs and one downstairs so we couldn't both...
