When we got to Hush we found out the owner has given away our friends reservation. "We had a wonderful stay at this cottage in Barry's Bay. The view was absolutely stunning, and the property was incredibly private and peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway.The cottage was spotless upon arrival and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was especially well-equipped for families with children, with plenty of amenities that made traveling with kids easy and enjoyable. Our daughter was obsessed with the zipline our entire stay! We appreciated the use of the boat and kayaks! Communication with our host was super easy. Instructions for the cottage were readily accessible and super helpful. The public beach and the fry-shack just down the road were amazing gems to discover. We also appreciated the firewood for our campfires!If you're looking for a quiet retreat with beautiful scenery and all the comforts of home, this cottage is an excellent choice. We would happily stay here again, in fact, we're eagerly waiting for an opening to book next summer!"

Peaceful Riverfront Cabin on 43 Private Acres

"Had a great peaceful stay, it was so nice to slow down and relax overlooking the river. Enjoyed the canoe although we were not able to go very far due to a debry dam. We were a little disappointed that the beach was not like the pictures, only a 5 ft entry and the rest is overgrown and weedy. Also we were looking forward to hiking the trails on the 43 acres but could not find them due to overgrown vegetation. The box spring is broken on the queen bed. The makeshift support kept falling out.Otherwise great time relaxing. Nearby Egan Falls was a great hike. Thank you for renting your cottage."

"Overall great place. One of the eyes on the stove wasnt workig. We contacted owner regarding bbq before attending to ensure we had means to bbq but when there found the gas was not working / empty and would have to fill up but since I was working was unable. We thought that should have been taken care of previously. Sauna and property is lovely. Pull out bed was not comfortable but room bed was. We were able to get reception on the amplifier but it was partially broken and had to be held in place nd not moe in order to get reception for cell phone service. Really wished the stove and bbq were in best order - we ended up fixing the stove. We forgot a whole pack of baby food in the storage in the kitchen but no one contacted us. Thats alright but, just saying. Beautiful property overall. "
