"We traveled to Seaside as a family with young kids. Our initial impression wasn't great. I asked the front desk about where to go for tide pooling and they didn't know (odd to me, with it being a coastal tourist town). Our room had a bad smell too, just from age, I think. But we left the door open (screen door shut), and it aired out quickly. Typical continental breakfast without waffles in a small area. Maybe 4 small round tables? The pool was a very comfortable temperature, but cramped. 2 benches to sit on. All that to say, the location was fabulous - right on the promenade - the room was comfortable, staff was friendly and attended to our needs very quickly. We loved the cookies in the lobby every evening. I would stay there again, if we make it back to Seaside."

"Great newer/refreshed hotel for your Seaside visit. One of the most comfortable hotels beds I've slept on in a while. Comfortable rooms, super friendly staff and fantastic location only a block from the beach. Unfortunately the EV chargers were not working but the staff worked their butts off to try to get them going. Highly recommend."

"The Ebb Tide Inn was steps from the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. When we entered our room, it smelled clean. Fresh towels provided everyday, good water pressure. Full breakfast in the morning in their dining area. Walking distance to aquarium, shopping and restaurants. 8 minutes to Cannon Beach (which was beautiful and had haystack rocks and upscale shopping), 30 minutes to Manzanita. Gorgeous ride along the coast. Would stay there again!"

"I understand early check in isn’t always possible. But the front desk staff were not helpful. My room was waiting for final inspection for 2 hours. What does that even mean. If the room is clean just let me check in. But if I would have paid $50 for an early check in I would have been able to go to my room? Location was great. Room felt clean. I did ask for an extra blanket and staff was quick to deliver. Pool and hot tub my boys enjoyed. But it just takes one negative experience to ruin a stay."
