"The hotel was so amazing. The view is magnificent. The location is really good. The only thing that i could say that is a bit disappointing is there are stains in the sofa in the living room. Other than that everything is perfect."

"Beautiful property, great view, very nice and helpful staff, good price as well."

"The room was clean enough. While looking for my cell phone, I happened to peer under and between the beds and it wasn’t very clean. The amenities were nice and the in-room teabags and coffee were good. The free drinks in the guest lounge were quite good. The location is very quiet so be aware that dinner options will be quite limited. Breakfast options are also non-existent except at the hotel. The room itself is very spacious but some of the fixtures are a bit dated. They were clean and in good...

"We loved our stay! The room was quiet and comfortable. We loved the public baths and breakfast (we didn't have dinner with our room). The staff was very welcoming. There's also a shuttle from the hotel down to the bus stop in Motohakone or it's an easy 15 min walk. "

"The place is very unique and charming. A really amazing experience for a traditional Onsen. The staff are super kind and the service is superb."

"Beautiful Rakuten"

"Great onsen hotel with incredible food but be warned that the location is a bit remote. It’s about a hike uphill of 15-20mins from the nearest bus stop and it’s quite difficult to get an uber/taxi from nearby stations. As well compared to other resorts, their shuttle service is not a reliable means of transportation. The staff are amazing but unfortunately, you can tell they’re stretched a bit thin. I got there about 2 hrs early and there was no one at reception. I had to drop my backpack there...

"Loved loved loved! Wished I had booked this for the entire trip and probably will book again if I return. The home was thoughtfully curated and exactly as pictured. Very scenic drive and quiet neighborhood. Instructions were straightforward with check-in/route/guidelines and host was very responsive. Note: if you are using public transport and have more than a back pack, I suggest catching a ride from the drop off point to the home."

"While the service and location were both excellent, I was disappointed to be put in the dog wing literally. I didn’t book a dog room. Don’t have a dog. Chose this hotel for views which were on the east wing our room was in the west aka dog wing. Spa service was fantastic! Onsen experience was super relaxing. All good except for being with dogs!"

"Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area!"
